At the sound of her voice, his heart went crazy. He wanted to hug her but he knew that if he did that, the connection would be broken.
“Yes, it’s me.” He smiled lovingly. He lifted his hand, wishing for her but threw it down again one second later. “I’ve missed you so much! Is everything ok?”
Percy was nervous. The last time he had tried this, it didn’t work, like he was calling someone but he had forgotten the number. Well, that was what he was told, at least. This time was different, though. He remebered everything from his past. He remembered Annebeth way more than before. Her smile, the smell of her hair, the feel of her lips on his, the feel he got when they were together…
Percy sighed. He was going to try. No, he was going to do it. He threw the drachma he had found on his pocket on the rainbow in front of him and said:
“Oh, Fleecy, do me a solid. Show me Annabeth Chase.”
The boy smiled at the thought of his journey with Hazel and Frank but he was now alone, he needed to do this alone. For a second nothing happened. Percy was worried that without knowing her exact location, this couldn’t work. But then, there she was, right in front of him, as beautiful as ever.
“Annabeth!” He screamed. “Are you ok?”
